Funäsdalen is a small but vibrant mountain village with just over a thousand permanent residents and a big heart. The village is beautifully located between Funäsdalssjön and Funäsdalsberget. For the winter of 2024/2025, we are seeking:

Housekeeping

We are looking for driven individuals who want to roll up their sleeves and become part of our cleaning team. The tasks include cleaning our hotel, and hostel, as well as the cabins and apartments we manage. The cleaning team works closely with our reception team, and together we help create a truly great mountain experience for our guests.

We are looking for someone who:

Takes pride in a job well done, is fast, thorough, takes initiative, and values a clean and tidy hotel/accommodation as much as we do. You will be part of a team, so we place great importance on your ability to collaborate and maintain a good attitude. A driving license and previous hotel experience are advantageous but not required.

The position is 75% from mid-November to the end of April.

Ski Instructor

Do you want to share your joy of skiing with the future’s ski and snowboard enthusiasts while spending your winter on snow? Here, you’ll have a varied workday where, in addition to your ski or snowboard lessons, you will also offer our guests experiences through events, competitions, ski tests, and happenings across the mountain. During your day, you will conduct ski lessons, prepare for upcoming events, and meet our guests, both big and small, with a smile. You will work in a team that collaborates with lift operators, ski patrol, and the crew running our sports shop, Fjällsport.

We are looking for someone who:

Is passionate about skiing or snowboarding and willing to help out when equipment needs to be organized for upcoming events. You must be proficient in skiing across the entire lift system and have a natural talent for teaching your skills to children at the appropriate level. It is a plus if you can also snowboard, but it is not required. We prefer you have previous experience in ski school, whether through education or practical experience.

There are opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions during the season from mid-December to the end of April.

Shop Assistant at Fjällsport

Would you like to spend your winter season in Funäsfjällen and become part of our Fjällsport crew? As a Fjällsport team member, you’ll ensure our guests are equipped with what they need, both from our ski rental and shop! You’ll also ensure that the rental equipment is waxed and sharpened and that the shop is well-organized! During your free time, there are millions of runs to test both on and off the slopes at Funäsdalsberget or our neighboring mountains!

We are looking for someone who:

Either wants to work the whole season (mid-December to the end of April) or has the option to work part of the season (peak weeks). Previous experience in ski rental is advantageous.
