The hotel in the middle of the village with close to everything. One of the Swedish mountain world's classic hotels dating back to 1947. There is a restaurant, lounge and bar under the same roof. We have a welcoming mountain feeling that has been in the walls for almost seven decades. Many of the hotel rooms have views of Funäsdalssjön and the mountain massif Skarvarna.

When you choose Hotel Funäsdalen, you'll be in the center of the village and close to everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From here you can reach restaurants, cafés, shops and activities in just a few minutes on foot. At the same time, you have the mountain world and Funäsdalssjön right on your doorstep, making it easy to combine comfortable accommodation with adventures in nature. Whether you want to ski, hike, bike or just take a leisurely stroll along the lake, you'll always have the proximity to make your stay smoother.

At Hotel Funäsdalen you can choose from eight different room types, suitable for single travelers, couples and families. Sizes range from 12 to 26 square meters and rooms can accommodate between one and five people. For those traveling with dogs, special pet-friendly options are available. Many of the rooms have a fantastic view of Lake Funäsdal or the Skarvarna mountain range, making it easy to relax right from bed. Functional spaces are combined with the feeling of staying in a classic mountain environment where history is still in the walls.

Food and socializing under one roof
After an active day, it's nice to know that you don't have to leave the hotel for a well-prepared meal. Downstairs you will find Fjällrestaurangen, our own restaurant that cooks with ingredients from Jämtland and Härjedalen. The menu is based on what is in season, such as fish, reindeer, beef, mushrooms and berries. In the lounge and bar, an inviting fireplace awaits where you can sit down with something good in your glass, talk through the day's experiences or just sit back in peace and quiet.

Fantastically friendly and service-oriented treatment, especially from the staff at the reception. They gave us tips and showed us on the map how to best experience Funäsdalen - which really enhanced our stay.
The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the whole environment felt cozy and pleasant. A charming hotel you would like to return to.

A quiet and peaceful hotel
Both we and our dog immediately felt at home. The breakfast was fantastic - generous in its choice and with a porridge that really stood out, something very special for us who love porridge. We are already looking forward to coming back. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely atmosphere and a staff that was both incredibly friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent, although we perhaps indulged in a few too many croissants with Nutella...
The winter package with a two-course dinner every night was good value and really tasty. It was also very nice to sit down in front of the fire in the lobby after a day on the slopes. A hotel we will gladly return to.
