Fishing in Funäsdalen

200 mountain lakes and over 300 km of flowing water. There is something for everyone here, from beginners to more experienced fishers, whether you prefer fly fishing, spin fishing, or just fishing off the side of a rowboat. Funäsfjällen’s fishing waters are abundant with grayling, char and trout.

With your Funäsfjällen fishing permit (Fiskepasset) in hand, you have access to all permitted fishing waters in west Härjedalen, totaling around 15,000 hectares. You will have access to one of Sweden’s biggest fishing areas available with a single fishing permit, with over 200 mountain lakes and more than 300 km of flowing water. You can essentially fish in a new lake every day without ever seeing another fisher.

Buy the fishing permit using the link below. It is non-transferable. The permit is also valid for kids under age 16 accompanying a permit-holder.
