Ski school - Funäsdalen

Our own ski school invites everyone to adventure, whether your skiing career has just begun or you want to take your skiing to a higher level. We offer a personal and dedicated ski school that sees you and spends time with you. With us, you’re not just another face in the crowd; we believe that the foundation for skiing development lies in trust, commitment, and joy.

Here’s how it works:

Booking should be made at least one week before the lesson starts. You can make a booking via email at skidskola@funasdalenberghotell.se.

If you’d like to book last minute, you can do so subject to availability at the lift ticket counter at Kåvans Gästcenter.

Prices

Group lesson for 5 days, 1-hour lesson each day: 1450 SEK

Group lesson for 3 days, 1-hour lesson each day: 1250 SEK

Private lesson for alpine/snowboard/telemark, 1 hour: 950 SEK (+450 SEK for each additional person)

Ages 4-6

Green – The Explorers (Very Easy Skiing)

With The Explorers, you start your skiing journey at Funäsdalen’s ski school. The focus is on discovering how much fun skiing can be. We learn how to make a snowplow, come to a stop, and ride button lifts. Most of our activities take place in and around in the kids area Lolandet, where we learn the basics of skiing.

Blue – The Adventurers (Easy Skiing)

The snowplow is already in your repertoire, and now we start looking for new places to explore. You’ll find us initially in Lolandet, but then we venture towards the park and maybe even up to the summit! Fun forest trails are always a welcome addition too!

Ages 7-10

Green – The Explorers (Very Easy Skiing)

With The Explorers, you begin your skiing career at Funäsdalen Mountain’s ski school. The focus is on discovering how much fun skiing can be. We learn how to make a snowplow, come to a stop, and ride button lifts. Most of our activities take place in and around the kids area Lolandet, where we learn the basics of skiing.

Blue – The Adventurers (Easy Skiing)

The snowplow is already in your repertoire, and now we start looking for new places to explore. You’ll find us initially on blue slopes, but then we venture towards the park and maybe even up to the summit! Fun forest trails are always a welcome addition too!

Red – The Challengers (Intermediate Skiing)

The Challengers push their limits even further. Now the focus is on skiing with parallel skis on both blue and red slopes to control speed. You’ll often find us exploring the entire ski system, trying new challenges every day – both on and slightly off the groomed slopes.

Black – The Adventurers (Advanced Skiing)

For the Adventurers, the entire mountain is open. We ski everywhere and aim to ski parallel everywhere while constantly making turns to control speed. We tackle all types of terrain and slopes, always seeking the next adventure.
