With this package, you can bring your dog and enjoy cozy summer days in Funäsdalen. The package includes gondola tickets and a lunch with fantastic views at Toppstugan – perfect to combine with a hike or run at the top of Funäsdalsberget. At Hotell Funäsdalen, you start the day in the best way possible with our large breakfast buffet and end the day by enjoying a fixed two-course dinner of the chefs’ choice.
Dogs are welcome in our Large and Large Lake View rooms as well as in our lobby. Dogs are also welcome in the Gondola and at Toppstugan this summer.
The package includes 2 or 3 nights at Hotell Funäsdalen, pet supplement, gondola ticket, and lunch at Toppstugan. When you book any of our packages, you always have free cancellation up to 21 days before arrival. The package can be booked with flexible check-in and check-out dates between June 19th and August 18th. From August 19th to September 21st, the gondola and Toppstugan are open Wednesday to Saturday, and the package can be booked with arrival days on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
Activity suggestions
Day 1: Welcome to Funäsfjällen! Stretch your legs after the car journey and get to know Funäsdalen through the 4km long Village Walk. Enjoy a leisurely evening and prepare yourself for tomorrow’s adventure.
Day 2: Today, an excursion to the top of Funäsdalsberget awaits! Everyone can reach it with the Gondola. For hiking enthusiasts, we recommend the Long Mountain Tour – starting in the middle of the village, it takes you to the top of Funäsdalsberget with a gentle ascent. The tour offers everything from spruce forests and trail hiking to boardwalks, marshlands, and mountain plateaus. At the top of Funäsdalsberget, you’ll find Fjällutsikten with a sign showing the peaks you can see: Anåfjället, Helags, Sylarna, Stormittåkläppen, Rödfjället, Storaxhögen, Skarvarna, and Skarsfjället. From Fjällutsikten, it’s a 400m walk to Toppstugan where you can enjoy a delicious lunch before descending with the Gondola. If you’re up for more hiking, you can take the summer path down the mountain – in that case, you’ll arrive at Röstbergsliften’s valley station and from there, follow the road back to the village.
Day 3: Stretch your legs before heading home and take a stroll on Röstberget! Discover its beauty with charming potato fields and historical cultural landscapes. Let yourself be surrounded by the scents of various tree species and enjoy the panoramic views of Funäsdalssjön and Ljusnedalssjön.
